1. BT - Believer
2. Groove Armada - Superstylin'
3. Crystal Method - Name Of The Game <--kinda profane really.
(the third was a toughy too pick. and i'm still not for sure.)

Fantastic idea Randy!!
And you people have great tastes in music.
Um, I have more than three...2 I picked off of Cappy's too long list "Cochise" by Audio Slave and "Gimme Shelter" by the Rolling stones.
Then I have my too long list. Forgive the slightly incorrect titles, I'm doing this fast...
"Can you hear me knocking" Rolling stones
Has anyone said "Born to Run" yet?
2 by Prodigy, one slightly less controversial "Breathe" and then, not for the kiddos, but it really gets me going is "Smack my B*tch up"
And finally, I think a band called Union Underground has a song called "South Texas Death Ride" (thats fantastic during spin classes I might add...)
Okay, thats all. For now. Don't you people know I'm terrible at deciding????

Ooh, what fun, Randy! I'm down with any Rush or B.O.C. Rawk.
- Don't Worry About the Government or Life During Wartime -- Talking Heads (Ever watch the Stop Making Sense recordings? Freakin' cocaine aerobics!)
- Asleep at the Wheel -- Bloodhound Gang
- Comfort Eagle -- Cake (This one really turns my crank lately...something about that sitar-y banjo sound.)
Even though I don't listen to music while running, I like to gear up with it.

My favorite times to motivate is while on the mill and on the way to a race.
Great list so far folks! Keep 'em coming! I will write them down and post a full list sometime next week.

GREAT IDEA RANDY!
Here are my little nominees:
Hot fun in the Summertime Sly and the Family Stone
Nowhere to Run Martha Reeves and the Vandelas
Shotgun Junior Walker and the All-Stars
Of course, with only 3 entries allowed, we're missing out on some funk, some disco, and the B-52's!

Oh, Randy...forgot to say before: Paying postage is fine with me & I'd gladly pay for the disc and label, as well. I'm a downloader, too, and can help out there, if needed.
BTW, anyone listen to Clutch?

I am terrible at thinking of songs off the top of my head, so I will think about it and come back and post them. |
It has been over 2 weeks and all the songs I can think of have been nominated!
Has Welcome to the Jungle by GNR made the list
or
In the Air tonight by Phil Collins (not sure why, but I like it when this song comes on my headphones when I am running solo!

Alright Folks!!! Last chance to submit THREE (3) songs for the list if you haven't already done so. I've compiled a list that has over 70 songs on it so far. Mid week I will post them, and have everyone pick 10 favorites from the list. PLEASE don't add any more songs that aren't on the list at that time. You had your chance to submit your favorites, so tough luck!
