Sad I don't know if I could handle not having a B&N close by...and some sort of coffee shop. Where is the closest one to you??

We do have a Starbucks and it is on the way to school, but I'm curbing that habit anyway, trying to brew my own and save the $$. And the calories for that matter. I think before Christmas I put on a couple lbs due to my bad habit. (They are gone now though. Smile)

I really do miss B&N though. I knew the layout better, they have, IMO, a much better children's book dept., and nothing neater than grabbing a coffee and vegging out while looking for books. BAM has a coffee shop inside it, but it's just not Starbucks.

Nearest B&N is in Bloomington (an hour away) or Indy (again, an hour away).

I've got no time to 'shop'. Aside from groceries possibly taking a 1/2 hour, I can be in and out of Target or the mall in 5-10 minutes because I grab what I need, check out and am movin' on. dunno

I hate it lots!! I don't window shop. I go in knowing what I want, then I get out. I bought curtains at Penney's right after Christmas, was in and out in under 5 minutes, no lie.

Although, I cannot walk into VS without spending a half-hour in there. Entirely too many options.

I wouldn't say 'hate', more akin to 'lack of time, money and interest', that's all.

Mall:

1. Dillards (shoes, sleepwear, purses)
2. Disney Store
3. Payless Shoes
4. Bath and Body Works
5. Food Court for a snack

Wal-Mart:

1. Pharmacy (for DH's Slim Fast)
2. Dairy
3. Soda
4. Laundry soap aisle
5. Paper goods (toilet tissue, napkins, paper towels)

Then I finish my grocery shopping up and down each aisle.
