Posted: 12/30/04 - 09:50 Post subject: Riff Raff Weather Channel --Who's Who's?
Taking the weather post one step further.
Who do you think would be a good on camera Meteorologists
for the Riff Raff version of the weather channel.
On the Weather Channel the on camera Meteorologists work 2 hrs shifts followed by another crew work 2 hrs then the first crew
Ex 6AM to 8AM crew A 8AM to 10AM crew B 10AM to 12PM crew A
Here we like to talk a little longer so the shift is 4 hrs.
Pick any four (or more) Riff Rafters and what you consider is their prime time.
Your time slots are:
6AM to 10AM
10AM to 2PM
2PM to 6PM
6PM to 10PM
Also is bad weather who would you send to cover the snow storm or hurricane.
Who would be the Travel Analysis? (optional)
6AM to 10AM cherylpf & MechEngDropout
10AM to 2PM Purple Hayes & DC RunningDiva
2PM to 6PM Genie & Kristin31
6PM to 10PM keltic63 & jrjo
Storm Chaser: rtpd113
Travel: Brie K

I'll take the 0200-0600 shift. I have on camera experience too, Play by Play announcer and Sports Director/Anchor for my High School television station

As I am apparently Jim Cantore's evil twin, hurricane coverage seems appropriate for me.

Don't you find it weird seeing a person being buffeted about and pelted with rain saying to people "To take shelter this is dangerous weather".

After many years of watching the Weather Channel during inclement weather (thanks to the wife), I have come to the conclusion if a Weather Channel person is anywhere near you prepare to get hammered by the weather.
