It's just parity.
Every team has got some great athletes...the gap between the have and the have nots is not very big anymore.
plus, someone gets hot from the 3 point line and, presto...you have an upset.

I think of all the number 1s - Villanova has the toughest road - they have arizona tomorrow, if they get by they'll have BC and then m/b florida just to get to the final four. ironically, they play some of their home games at the wachovia center. This year they played three, if they had played 4, they would have had been placed in another bracket.

I know I know, I'm supposed to cheer for my conference but it goes against everything right in my world to cheer for the vols...or LSU for that matter

It's the hometown team, the coach is a Sutton. The ORU Eagles were a good time this year. I was hoping!

Ahhh....enjoy the top spot while you can, sonny......although I prolly won't be up there long, one of my final four is toast. Fortunately I think I covered my first round losses by picking a lot of second rounders correctly. Sigh.....
