I am a dedicated cyclist. My wife would add – fanatic. Seriously, I hate when I have to skip riding especially before some competition. We live in area where weather is not always in favor of dedicated riders. I don’t know what to do. What do you think about riding in the cold and rain?

It depends on how you feel about it. I personally don’t like to be wet and cold when I am working out. So when weather doesn’t permit riding I stay at home. If you don’t run home immediately after you finish the race and let yourself be dried by the wind at subzero temperature you may end up with pneumonia or similar disease. So my advice would be to get the trainer and keep riding at the convenience of your own home on cold and rainy days.
