We hired a new graphic designer two weeks ago. He came in briefly this morning around 9am, wrote his resignation letter and left it on the desk of my boss. Didn't say a word. Said his creative juices flow better in the middle of the night and can't hack the 8-5. We were gonna work with him, but he decide he can't work with us Confused

Another woman gave her notice two weeks ago, but she wasn't leaving until the end of June. They told her to leave today. Confused

There is a rumor from several sources that another round of 150 layoffs will come down this week.

Sad

Keltic, some of it falls to me. Some of other marketing girl's duties fall to me. Including a conference at the first of July that we're exhibiting at that requires a new booth designed by a graphic artist Neutral Did I mention we should have had artwork to the booth company probably last week? They haven't even started any kind of strategy whatsoever. Confused

We're rapidly growing. We had about 52 people on staff (now back to 50) and have created 12 more positions we know we need.

Most of the people at my company have been there 1-1/2 years or less. We have 6 people who have been there longer and that includes the owners and the owners wives.

I missed this thread! I'm sorry I made that comment the other day about aren't you glad you didn't have your job anymore. I thought you were leaving over a month ago.
