The wife feels that it's some kind of game. The split second a commercial comes on, there she is whipping through the channels like there was no tomorrow. It bugs the crappo out of me!!!

It's so....so...unrelaxing or something. Plus, I constantly have to remind her to put it back to the channel we were watching.

My Dad is like that too. That's why I don't go over there anymore to watch Packer games.

Okay, so which one are you? friend? or enemy?

Why is there a button that increases the yapping? Shouldn't there just be a down button?

I believe you refer to it as the 'satan box'?

I used to be like Joy....I'm lightnin' thumbs during commercial breaks, then get hung up on some dumb show like "Cribs" and forget that I was watching something way back on network...it used to make my dad CRAZY. However, now that I live on my own and don't have cable, there's not much to flip TO, so I don't flip much anymore.

I am with you Joel. Jen is the same with the remote. Lucky for me we have a couple of them so I can switch back and it becomes a battle of the remote. Nothing that a kidney punch can't correct though.

Well, I sometimes flip during a commercial, but I only do it to "check" if something else is coming on HBO, or like to see the score of a game or something.

Mrs. Coach, on the other hand, flips through the channels randomly, and is always stopping at something dumb (QVC, sorry Greg) and gets caught up in it, and by the time she gets back to where she started, it's almost commercial time again.

Perhaps you've never heard of the 'mental' kidney punch, young jedi?
