There is actually a pattern that is always respected. Namely the fastest runner is last to run. It’s a strategy designed to compensate for possible time loss. So, the first who runs is the second fastest in the team, then follows third fastest, after that the slowest runner and finally the fastest finishes the race. In my opinion, race relays is very interesting and exciting. The sprint may be more attractive but this can also boost your adrenaline. I like it because it’s more a team sport and each individual participates in success or failure. You’ll see that when you start exercising and when you get into it more that you’ll find it very interesting.
