I've heard report from a bunch of Health nuts that eating birthday cake for breakfast, could be the solution to your problems.

No, gonna hit the store tonite, buy a lot of fiber-rich foods and cut back on the chocolate and cheese for a bit.

I'll probably come off as a zealot, since that's my online persona, but really, you should look at it as more than "for a bit". The human GI-tract is designed for fiber. Start reading some labels and anything that lacks fiber should be a small part of anyone's diet. This is a lifestyle issue really. Cheese and chocolate should only be in the realm of 'condiments'. Just like the food pyramid, the foundation and vast majority of what to eat are whole grains, legumes, veggies and fruits. I guarantee, you cut out the junk to all but a mouthful or two a day and she'll be poopin' like a pro.

Exactly, I preach this all the time. Remember the flax seed? Also Kashi Go Lean Crunch. It tastes good, no really. Also water, is she drinking enough?

We want regularity, not flamethrowability!

As it is, we've altered our diets. Goodbye "fun" cereals... those have no dietary fiber. I'm as sad as the kids are. I love the sweet stuff. So I picked up some shredded wheat honey stuff, 4g dietary fiber, and a new malt-o-meal I'd never seen, alos 4g of DF. Dinner last night was mixed salad greens w/ cukes, green peppers, mandarin oranges, Chicken from the crockpot (w/ cream of chicken soup) on top of noodles & brocolli. Sunmaid dried fruit for a snack while watching a movie before bed.

She carries a water bottle with her at school, since she is prone to headaches and I think that is a dehyration issue, so I don't think that's it, but I'll mention that tonite.

No cliff bars this trip. We'll see how she does with these changes first.

Thanks for all the input!
