Bella can't leave her camping-resultant bugbites alone. She keeps messing with them, and I'm about to ducktape her hands behind her back.

The kid's gonna be a scarred-up mess! Ugh. How do I get her to stop?

(Should I have asked Akey this question?)

Does she have the type of skin that scars easily? If not, and they're not on her face, don't worry about it. I used to get bitten a lot, and scratched a lot, and had lots of scabs, but I don't have any scars. Have you been putting calamine lotion on the bites?

I still pick my scabs (or does this belong in that 'what makes people beautiful thread'?)

I scar really easily, so to keep from scratching, I try to keep some ice or something cold nearby when I have bugbites or, ahem, rashes. When I was little, my mom used to buy lidocaine when I would scratch from sunburn.

I've been using Benedryl Itch Gel... but now they're healing, and they're all scabby even though they don't itch anymore... and she (this is so gross) said she can't help picking at them, she likes it! Blehck!!

Depends on where those scabs are, I guess.

Try this
Covers it up so she can pick at it! Or at the very least she will be so curious about the liquid bandage she will forget about the scabs!

ICKY.

That liquid bandaid is cool stuff.

What about cool regular bandaids, too? Like ones that are glowy-in-the-dark? Or Hello Kitty?
