[rant]So in my training plan i had set-up a flexible recovery week. really depending on how hard last week's BRAG was. well it turns out my back is killing me and with the Peachtree coming up i decided i better use the MOST RECOVERY with LEAST ACTIVITY plan.

ok, i know it;s good for me. i know i'll be stronger for it. all kinds of good things BUT. day by day of this not much at all crap is bugging the he!! out of me.

i'mm gonna hit the gym and use the leg culs on light weights and see how that feels and sit in the sauna for a while.

BTW recovery weeks suck[/rant]

thanks for the venue

This week is a reduced week for recovery because I've been ramping up for an Olympic in October:

Monday - 3 mile run. (My dumb@ss went out and PR'd the distance....legs hurt)
Tuesday - 10 mile bike (My dumb@ss decides to do hill sprints...legs still hurt)
Today - 1200y swim and 3 mile run (My dumb@ss needs to remember to just do the distance, regardless of how slow - I'm supposed to take it easy, remember?)

You will get through it.

I now wish I had taken more recovery time in March after my Ultra. I am just now getting back to where I feel I should be.

Take it easy and listen to your body.
