78,179 people attened the "Basketbowl" in Detroit setting a new world's record for the largest number of people to attend a basketball game. Previous record was set in Berlin, 1951, when the Harlem Globetrottes played somebody.

But the RR question is, of course, is did Shuryl watch on tv? dunno

I did and pulled for the Cats..I think my support pulled them through Very Happy

I have always wanted to see the Globetrotters. I love basketball and have yet to see a pro game. One day....

My ultimate would be to see the Spurs.

What was so important about this game that so many people were in attendance?

I went to a pro basketball game once. College games are much more exciting.
