I haven't gotten a moving violation since sometime in the late 80's and the last two times I've been stopped it was for something stupid (once was for having a burned out license plate bulb).

Improper lane change a month ago. Speeding - doing 32 in a 30 zone - in 1996. That's all, f-f-f-folks!

I've gotten one speeding ticket. period.
It's a speed trap at a small town around here. A major highway goes through town, and the town cop sits on the edge of town and nails all out of towners for speeding up too early at the edge of town.
I've also gotten two warnings in the same town. Different cops every time, they tend to go through a lot of officers in this town.
I've gotten probably 4 other warnings too, usually for the same thing...speeding up too soon at the end of a small town.

One ticket in the past 15 yrs.... 38 mph in a 25 zone. Pulled over two months ago - three times in a 2 week period with no citations issued. First one was for headlight out (it just happened that day!), pulled over 2 days later by the same overzealous rookie claiming I didn't have my lights on at 5 a.m. (I did) and when I told him not to worry I had already replaced the one bad one he seemed embarassed. Pulled over a week later in my kids Mustang - no freakin' license plates! The almostX had kindly removed them w/o telling my son or me - the car is in her name so she wanted the plates back. The officer was very nice and followed me the 1/4 mi. back to my apt. after I explained the situation.
The early years were a different story ..... multiple speeding tickets, open container and contributing to delinquency of minors, sucks to be 18 when all yer buddies are still 16 or 17.....

I'm an excellent driver...and not just on Sundays.
One speeding ticket - 1974 - for doing 37 in a 25. I thought that the limit was 35.
I've been stopped since then but never ticketed. I know that having an I.A.F.F. sticker on your vehicle is almost as good as having that really handy F.O.P star.

Dittos on the one ticket evah.
Absolute middle of zippo. 15 miles to town in one direction, 15 miles to another town in the other direction. Total land of bogs and swamp. Maybe two dozen driveways in that whole 30 mile stretch. I got clocked at 72 in a 55. That stretch should be an autobahn

I've been good for over 3 years. No tickets, not even pulled over.
now three years and before however are a different story...many tickets, many states
that was of course prior to the surgical correction of the imbalance of weight in my feet...

I got a speeding ticket at 17, and another at 26, so it's been almost 20 years since I've had a ticket.

i've been driving since the dark ages and have never ever been stopped for anything.
both of us together once were stopped for having an expired sticker on our plate -- expired by 15 days -- and we had just moved to this lovely town of cleveland.
so, the nice po po tows our little car away, and drives us home to our new apartment complex in the back of his cruiser with the lights flashing.
i'm sure the other apartment dwellers were all gossping about the new drug dealers in 2B

towed for expired registration is a little over the top especially if everything else is in order.
