Why do motorcyclists have to speed between cars between the lanes? Seems a little dangerous to me....
And why can't I take my kid to pick parts at the junkyard? Seems backwards to me....

Amen to that. Worst batch of mosquitoes I ever ran in to was at a junk yard while I was trying to find a door handle for my beloved Escort.

What a great intro to the real world! I love junkyards. I felt it would be a great place to spend a summer afternoon together looking for some parts I needed. He's not that little, either--and fairly well self-contolled at this point....but, I understand about lawsuits and things like that. sigh.

I'm not Genie and I'm not Pro, but I may have a possible answer.
I believe that California is the only state where Lane Splitting is actually legal. I have been told that out there they do it so that the air-cooled motorcycles don't overheat from sitting in traffic. I would never dream of attempting to lane split. If I'm in traffic, I just shut off the engine for the motorcycle. Actually, I'll just turn off the engine and the lights and keep the radio on.

TN recently passed a law stating the motorcycles didn't have to stop at red lights.
