Ok, the kids didn't think so at first. Once I told them that we'd be able to play in them though, it became the neatest thing ever. Bagging them up though was not their cup of tea. Oh well, we got the front yard pretty much done, and ended up with about 11 huge bags full of them. The piles was huge. Had to be about 6' wide, 4' long, and a good 2' tall before they jumped into it. Tomorrow we work on side and back yards. Good times!

A few more pics here: http://pages.ivillage.com/cl-brie_k/2003/id17.html I took 24 pics total, and think one of them will be our Christmas card. We'll see what shakes out tomorrow.

Yeah, it's really nice for them to have super short hair, and I use the clippers on them every few weeks. I'm getting better at doing the straight-line thing in the back and above the ears too. Hubby's hair is the same too, he just has a bit less of it to do. Smile The clippers were a great investment.

Thanks for peeking everyone. We did have a great time. I love being a homeowner. We never got to do this kind of stuff at the apartments.

They pay for themselves after the first use and you never have to tip. The only problem is that if your hair turns our screwed up, you've got no one to blame but yourself.

I have plenty of room, just not the inclination. I am not compost/gardener/basic outside person. The leaves were raked partly out of necessity, and partly in search of a good christmas card pic. Wink
