SNL showed part of an exchange with Chevy Chase in a skit from the 70's...one funny man.

NO!!! That is awful. I loved him. He was one of the first comedians I ever saw; my father took me to see him, much to my mother's disgust.

I really enjoyed his sense of humor, and was in awe of how he put himself back together and quit his cocaine habit after nearly ending his own life.

That is sad.

Was it the one where they are doing the word association and it gets derogatory?

If it was that was a great one

I think there was just this year a genetic connection made between (at least genetic) MS and MI (what he died from). I think I read this anyway, I'm probably screwing that up, but something about whatever gene or mutation causes one can cause both.

Richard Pryor was probably one of the bigger(est?) influences to the current generation of comedians, so hilarious.
