1) The Yankees crumbled. They shouldn't have. So sad.
2) I really, really, really hate Johnny Damon. First, grown men should NOT call themselves Johnny. Second, that fake wannabe batting mullet he fashions at bat annoys the hell out of me.

This choke job was IMPOSED on the Yanks by the Sox. Great pitching by the Sox in these last 4 games. The staff made the adjustments they needed to and stymied the Yanks lineup.

You are soooooo right on, HH.
The cocky Yankees needed this kick in the pants. I might actually go buy a Sox hat to torment the Yankee fans at school.

IMO, both teams have great talent. It was hard to predict the winner of that division series for sure. It looked as though the Red Sox were "done" after game 3 and their chances of going to the WS was grim. It goes to show that anything can happen.
I thought that the Red Sox's pitching was spectacular in games 6, 7. Schilling and Lowe really did their job.
I think the Yankees just didn't "get the job done", as their GM said.
