Thieves' getaway stalls in car with no engine

BERLIN: Thieves broke into a car repair garage in Germany and sliced open the roof of a convertible being worked on, but had to abandon their night-time robbery when the vehicle wouldn't start.
Police said the engine was missing – being repaired in a separate part of the garage in the German town of Paderborn, according to a report in Bild am Sonntag newspaper.

That's where I recognize Dueling Banjos from, but I can't see any connection to the article.

As a Scout leader I had to often deal with a local NY Forest Ranger. Every time I spoke to this guy I felt the need to cue up Dueling Banjos. Its not just a "Southern thing" for me...
