I intend no offense but realize that all the medical care for Abby must be very expensive. Does health insurance cover that?

Her first admission cost $999,600.00 and she is over 2 million easy now probably 2.5. Because of her birthweight and medical issues she is techinically disabled. Since she is disabled she qualified for SSI. Since she got SSI, she gets medicade (only her, not us) regardless of our income.

So my wife's insurance (first two and a half years) covered all, and what ever they did not pay medicad paid.

We have very little out of pocket for her.

My wife used to work for an insurance company so she know the system so we have to work the system but stuff gets paid. We also called our state legislator to help us in negotiating the state system when we were getting the bureaucratic run around. Amazing how many roads that smoothed for us.

I also have very good insurance with the PO PO.
