OK, so many guys responded to Dancer's thread with this topic, I knew this was a SUREFIRE way to attract you mins.
So I ask you - if your wife were to go off solo for a weekend to Las Vegas with her female best friend, would you have any issues with that? The Paramedic doesn't care (he actually encouraged it) but some of my cow-orkers thought it strange.
What say you?

Absolutely no problem at all. Have fun. Place a 10 spot on 30 red for me on the roulette table.

I would have no problem. To me, part of marriage is trusting the other person to make the right decisions.

It's all about trust. I wouldn't have married her if I didn't trust her.
I'd tell her to have a good time.

I would say it's insecurity, but I know people who would and do have problems with it and they are all very stable, secure couples.
I think what it comes down to is whether you respect your partner as an individual as well as part of the couple.
In my opinion, married couples don't have to spend every waking minute together. And it's probably better if they don't.

Yeah, right. Men Keep Out. That's like plunking a Hula Popper onto the surface of an Indiana farm pond as the moon rises and the whipporwills call...(got that, Rob?)...Mr. Largemouth is sure to rise to the bait.
She can't go solo is she's with a friend!
Is her friend married? Is her friend good-looking? Is her friend notorious for her fits of drunken squalor? Is her friend a "fun girl?" (Her name wouldn't be Skippy or Daphne, would it?)
Ah, who cares? Not me. Besides, you know the rule: what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

Art loves it when I leave for the weekend. It means he gets to drink beer, eat pizza, have the TV plus remote with no discussion on how many shows he's watching. The only thing that would make it better is if I'd take the dogs so he never had to leave the couch.

So, what you're saying is, my being married for as long as I have is due to the fact that: A) I was in the Navy and often flew missions which took me away from home for extended periods of time and, B) I was a firefighter who worked a 24hour-on/48hour-off schedule for over twenty-two years?
By Jove, I think you've got it!
...working on the 29th year...

HA! Mrs. Hayes and her best friend would look like this --> the moment they stepped foot off the plane in Vegas.

Followed shortly thereafter by this -->
