I've got a potential race lined up in Tallulah Gorge on Nov. 6th. It's in the afternoon, so I could probably take Mrs. H along. Would it be too late in the season by then for watching the leaves change?
I was just up in the area yesterday and from what I could tell (cause it was rainy/misty/foggy) that maybe in another week or two it will be prime viewing time.

From what I've heard - I think this weekend and next (Halloween) are the prime weekends for fall leaf/tree viewing. It might be a little late by Nov. 6th. But its worth a shot, that area up near T. Gorge is nice.
