Great race, even though it was as cold as a witches...
Met up with elkid at around 7 a.m. we hung out and bs'ed. She got to watch me do the pee dance for 10 minutes, too. (Long line + lots of coffee and water X cold = pee-dance)
Here is a picture of me and Laurie:
I would love to give you splits, but my freakin' watch reset! All of my splits were erased
Anyway, the Queens half was much hillier (in my humble opinion) than the Brooklyn, and my time was a 1:35:45, actually :14 slower than the Brooklyn. I was very pleased, and I would like to credit that dude who tried to pass me with 100 yards to go for perhaps knocking 10 seconds off of my time. I sprinted like a man with his head on fire to beat him (and I did). Pass me at the end, HA!
I couldn't stay around after the race because I had to jet to work, so you will have to wait for elkid to report on her race.
Had a great time!

Monk, you're one long distance racing fool! That's a great time too, you should be proud.

Great Job Monk!!
Sorry to hear that you erased your splits like that. I hate it when that happens even on a training run.
