Feb. 23rd. 2003 will be the 10 year anniversary of the 1st time and Mr. and Mrs. Hayes first started seeing each other.
Should I do something special on this occasion? I'm positive Mrs. Hayes doesn't remember the date so it would be a complete surprise to her if I did anything.

I know this is a question for the wimmins, but allow me to put my 2 cents in.
Are you kidding? She would love it. It doesn't take a woman to know that anytime the guy remembers any kind of anniversary that is huge points. The fact that she probably forgot the date adds bonus points.
Very smooth, and I am coming up on our 9 year on feb 21st (thanks for the reminder).

Wow, Feb seems to be a big time for these 'events'. Tracy and I got engaged on the 19th.
I couldn't agree with Monk more. Do something nice, she'll be impressed.

Absolutely do something. It will mean all the more to her that it wasn't expected. What a romantic you are.

Unfortunately, that's not true. I've just got a good memory (but not that whacky mnemonic stuff like Bambam).
It's really a way got me out of the dog house. Honestly, things haven't been so swell lately and I'd like to patch them up.
Now that I've remembered a date, any fubtabulous suggestions on what I should do on that day? I'm pretty sure she wouldn't like to go the places that we went to 10 years ago (although I would).

Well, can you get away for weekend or even a night, maybe to a cabin in the mountains (if you have something like that near you, I just don't know) with a fireplace/hot tub kind of thing, or even to a nice hotel/bed and breafast, maybe ballet/opera/theater tix and dinner, and a really nice bottle of champagne (if you guys drink the stuff, I don't know if you do or don't) fresh flowers, etc? Give her a nice massage, get allo cuddly, you know, it pretty much goes from there. Good Luck! I hope things start to go better for you two!!

this is so sweet. yes, do something but i'm devoid of suggestions....i was thinking go where you met??? Ballys???? Motel 6??
very good idea PH - the most romantic thing mr. rr ever did for me was send 4 roses to the door (just 4) and it bowled me over completely. i still have the card and that was 9 years ago....
i had to dig deep in my memory to recall the date we met and lo and behold it was september 11th.

Robin cant even remember our anniversary. I remember the date I first asked her out, the day of our first date, the date we got engaged and the anniversary. I never forget and always get something for her. She loves it and feels because she never remembers. No biggie. She could never accuse me of not being thoughtful.
Now if I could remember what she says just before I walk out of the room to get her something. That would be something. \
