Mine: my mom making me grilled cheese, tomato soup and fritos for lunch during summer break.

My dad buying me a strawberry ice cream cones when I had ear infections and had to keep going to the doctor.

Driving up to the cabin we rented in Ontario every summer. The anticipation of that week was amazing.

Going to the airport to collect crushed cans with my Dad and Sister.
We made a game out of it. It was fun.

Christmas. With 5 kids in our family it looked like a mountain of presents under the tree.

sliding into mom's flower garden after seeing a laundry detergent commercial. Probably Tide. I'm sure it got the stain out, but you know, my arse really hurt after that experiment.

A two week road trip with my parents. We went to Leesburg, VA, DC, Niagra Falls, Chicago and then home.
I just remember we had a great time.

My Grandma used to take me and my brother grocery shopping with her every couple weeks. We could get whatever we wanted. I would run immediately down the isle and grab as much tuna as I could.

My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.
