My first attempt, me and the boy worked for about 30 minutes on this guy

He looks pretty good to me although he is going to look like a shrunken head in about 3 days!!! Are you going to carve another one next weekend?

I promised the girlie we'd buy pumpkins today. It's finally getting cooler so it won't rot carved on the front porch by this time on Tuesday.

i won't even attempt to carve a pumpkin. i'd lose a finger or something. nice job both of ya.
