Turkey Day is Nov.27th. And as for the bench, I'm thinkin' the vertical stack on your machine should be fine, there's pounds/kilos labeled on there, no? Any expert lifter opinions out there?


Jrjo, 200 lbs on a machine is nowhere near like doing 200 lbs on free weights - the machine is considerably easier.


lol i'll be happy to push my weight. (and it sure ain't 200)

Okay I maxed out on several things this morning and now my arms are whipped.

Push-ups: 35
Bench press: 225 lbs
Dips: 20
Pull-ups: 14

Definitely room for improvement on push-ups and bench press. No chest measurement yet.

Wow, this would be tough for me..

I do 540 flat floor crunches every morning, and 100 crunch bench crunches every evening.

I do weights 4 times a week, benching 200 lbs max, but usualy work with 190 lbs. I lift 90 lbs with the EZ bar on preacher curls, and 90 lbs on the tricep bar. Lat pull downs and rows are at 90 lbs.

I also pack in protein and creatine, as well as a host of other stuff (I keep GNC and Vitamin Shoppe's in business).

I am worried that any more would degrade my running.

jrjo, how do I work around this???

Get your max press, pushups, & measurements down sometime the next few days. And since you're a 'regular' lifter, you get the higher pointage for improvements. You're lookin' like the best for the max points, so others with improvements will be giving you a run for points there, which is how this whole thing stays competitive Mr. Green

I'm in....is there a max for pec size, too? I might still have a shot at that one....Wink Twisted Evil At least I think I'm in....I know I agreed to something but I am not sure what....
