I completed the Provo Half this past Saturday. This is my second trip to do this race. I live in Florida, and love the refreshing change of scenery and weather during the summer months.

I set a PR in 1.27:40 and finished 52nd out of 1525 runners, 8th in 35-39 age group.

This is a great race and recommended. See trailrun.com for details.

Wow, that's a great time!! Congrats on the PR. We need a longer race report--is this a trail race?

Nice job!

Don't think I'll be making it out to Utah anytime in the near future, though.

The race is run mostly on a paved, asphalt trail, that winds and rolls through the Provo River Canyon. Beautiful scenery!!!

The first three miles are very steep in decent, then the remainder has a rolling decent with one long climb for about 1.5 miles, and then several small, rythmn breaking hills. The last 2 miles are the flatest miles of the course, leading to finish line in a large park.

Large food spread! The race is capped at 1500, and fills every year.
