MickeyVW and I did the Prospect Mountain Run in Lake George NY just yersterday.

Despite dire predictions of rain, the weather was just cloudy and 50ish. Actually quite good for running.

Prospect Mountain Run bills itself as having "just one hill". Its true. The hill is 5.67 mile, with a 1601 foot elevation climb. If you look here:

you will get an idea of the race profile and challenges you will encouter doing this race. Basically, you're looking at a 15% drop in running speed.

Suffice it to say I finished at just about 78 minutes Mickey was just ahead of me by about 10 seconds. Results will be posted soon
