dumb as it may sound..
what does it mean when my Lexmark color printer chooses to print everthing in pink? the color cartridge is half full. i just replaced the black one a few weeks ago. ever since then, it's been pinksville.
my son uses this thing for lots of school work. his reports will be pink. pink is not good. The text will print black but everything else comes out pink. it's nauseating.
any advice??

Check the color cartridge and check the font color of the report that he is doing.

Could be that your color cartridge is bad/clogged. That or your printer drivers are corrupt (doubtful).

Also check that your printer and computer are "communicating" with each other. Every time I change a cartridge on mine I have to do a couple of tests to make sure that everything's aligned, etc.
