So Crazy Cat Lady is on EVERYONE's nerves today considering that she tried to claim a particular contract as all her doing, when in fact...it was the client of a guy who just left for Active Duty in Iraq and he already had production in the works. He'd been forecasting a close for a month before CCL ever met them and frankly, she met them for the first time while they were wrapping up production on their last spot. To add insult to injury, the client was rolling her eyes at the Major because Crazy Cat Lady wouldn't shut her pie hole.

Now we know how CCL likes to do every task with the most noise possible....Annnnnd it's a given that my going off on her regarding this was a waste of time and energy on my part. I'm not sure if it's gotten worse or if I just notice it more, but it has not abated in any way, shape or form.

At this point I think I'll jump right into the story. This afternoon CCL was getting ready to go meet with a client. How did I know this?

RustleRustleRustleThumpJingleJingle
JingleJingleJingleThumpJingleJingle
RustleRustleJingle
Scraatttttch (that was keys being dragged across her desk)
Slam(keys slammed down again)
Scratttttch Thunk.
RustleRustleRustleTHUD.

I quietly reached into my bag, took my keys out, and shook them furiously. From across the room I hear the exagerrated rustling of papers and from another cube the slamming of drawers. With my other hand I rustled some envelopes and the noises from across the room rose to a cacophany of slams, rustlings, key jinglings and I believe I even heard the exagerated slamming of a phone to it's cradle.

It made no difference, however, because the noise from Crazy Cat Lady's area continued culminating in ThumpThump
ThumpThumpScreeeeeeeeeeeSlam!

She finally left, leaving the office in blessed silence save for a collective sigh of relief. Passive/agressive behavior never solved anything, but it sure is entertaining

Do you think if you played the song "The sound of silence" over and over she might catch a clue??
