There's actually one race where being a bandit is acceptable: Boston Marathon. (My hubby is one this year!) I know, off subject here but just had to throw it in there.

Oh, also be sure to mention how much better you heard other races are. The other races have better prizes, the courses are better laid out, the aid/water stations have a better quality of water, and the port-a-potties are a lot cleaner.

All RD's love hearing this and consider it to be merely suggestions, which they will take to heart for next year's race.
