Ever see people at your gym exerting what appears to be great effort at doing an exercise that accomplishes nothing? There are two at my gym in the morning - one male and one female. The guy lays on a mat on the floor, arches his back and rocks back and forth and acts like he's doing some kind of major ab work. He's not accomplishing crap other than cleaning the mat with his shirt.

The woman sits on an exercise ball and rolls it around a bit. She's not accomplishing a damn thing either.

yeah...I've seen a few...and some of them do get annoying. I remembered some time ago there was this pair of girls (in heavy Goth makeup) who would routinely get on the stairmaster, set it on the highest gear and run on it for like 10-15 mins...they made such a big racket with their heavy foot stamping
