Well they're not presents as I paid for them, but I'm way excited.
Jake's new Britax booster seat should arrive soon. Good-bye bulky carseat! I don't usually order carseats through the mail, but I love the Britax brand, and the alternative is going to Indy to get one since I cannot get the exact one I want in this podunk town. I did get free shipping so this method is actually cheaper than going to Indy given ridiculous gas prices.
Two books from B&N since my local Books-A-Million sucks rocks:
Never Eat Alone: And Other Secrets to Success, One Relationship at a Time
by Keith Ferrazzi, Tahi Raz. This is a book about networking--the personal kind, not computer.
Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation
by Lynne Truss. A bestseller and "anecdotal history of English punctuation." I've learned in my paralegal writing class that I know jack about punctuation, so I thought this might be a good read.
So what are you expecting?

A few cool things actually.
1) A book from FSU about FSU for my coffee table. Always wanted it and never had a coffee table for it.
2) This is the big one:
I ordered two FSU brick pavers, for a friend and myself, to be placed around the Wescott Building (enterence of FSU) with our names...graduation...major on each. It's cool, because they make a replica of the paver and send it to you. Anyway, my friend has no clue about it, but is an FSU grad like myself. I know he'll love it! So, I'm very excited about this. He and I go back 20 years now. We'll now leave our mark on campus. Plus all the proceeds go to campus beautification. It'll be long worth the wait.

Cool!
