From the obvious crushes on Mr. Peterson from CSI...

Document your preference.

First husband, 2 years older.

When I was 23:
1st boyfriend after Divorce: 11 years older.
Other boyfriend: 27 years older.
dated a couple of other guys 11-20 years older.
Second (and current) husband: 16 years older

I'm 31 now...

Older serious boyfriend #1: 8 years older
Older serious boyfriend #2: 20 years older

I'm also partial to younger men and men my own age. . .just so you know I'm not biased. Wink

Well, hubby is 5 years older than me, and talks as though he is Father Time and I'm Baby New Year.

One time when Kramer and I were separated before we got married, I dated a man about 20 years my senior, no lie. He was smokin hot, and had lots in common with dad. LOL. In that same timeframe, I also dated a guy about 8 years my senior.

I think most every guy I've ever dated has been at least a couple years older than me. In fact, if I end up going out with Rick, it will be the first time I've ever gone out with someone younger than me.

maybe it is a maturity factor. Is it maybe men your age are just too immature?

older men do nothing for me.

men my age really have no attraction either.

now younger men, well, they really don't get my attention at all.

Absolutely. Not all older men need apply. Wink

The older men that I've dated have been utterly young at heart and young-looking, too. They're just older versions of the type of guy I'm attracted to, and I didn't write them off because of that.

Oh, BIG FAT to that. Those Beavis types are just gross. At any age.

As for me, I always went for older guys. My first serious BF was 10 years older, first ex fiance was 22 years older. The last one was 16 years older, but all were way young for their ages. The one time I dated a guy a few years younger, it totally didn't work. But then again neither did most of the older ones, so perhaps age is not the variable after all Wink Funny though, most of my most trusted guy friends are a couple years younger and they're some of the most mature, focused, stable people I know. Too bad y'all are already married. Wink Wink

The most current prospect is five years younger and I am already at that thought, hence why I am not doing anything about it. But he does have a PhD which none of the others have so I am wondering if the education factor will make any difference. There's something terribly appealing about those cute-geeky Clark Kent types. DH and I have been together 26 years, 20 married. He is 8 yrs. older than me. I was 16 and he was 24 when we met. My parents were not happy at the time. His mother and entire family said it would never last. I think maturity has a lot to do with it. Having said that I'd have a stroke if my 16 yr old was dating someone who was 24. Shocked
