Got my stitches out today, what was left of them (ouch) and the doc says everything is healing nicely, no sign of infection, and the biopsy reports were ALL CLEAN!!! dance He said it's too early to tell about scarring but I got some stuff to put on them to help with that.

Most importantly.....I AM CLEARED TO START RUNNING earlier than I expected!!!!!!!!!! I asked him about resuming activity today and he said whatever I can tolerate and to start slowly (ha!!! who's he kidding? Twisted Evil ) but that I should be able to do yoga, lift light weights, bike, walk AND RUN...if I wear two sports bras (like I didn't do that before surgery? ) and stop if it hurts or if the major incision point starts bleeding (it's still weepy but he said that was normal three weeks out). I was expecting three more weeks from what he said initially, and he said I still might not be able to do it yet because of the recurring pain, but that it is OK to at least try. Which is ALL I needed to hear! No swimming for at least another two weeks until the incision point stops weeping, but that's OK.

Guess where I'm going tomorrow at lunch!!!! YEE HAH!!!!! I think that about wraps up the decision on whether I'm running Allentown in 7 weeks......Dancing Banana Dancing Banana
