Post Vacation letdown do you get it?

l'm back in the office after 10 days on vacation in Canada and all is not well.

I'm fine personally just have no desire to focus on the piles of papers stacked everywhere.

I mean you tell folks you will be gona and they still leave you messages that need an answer that day for crying out loud.

Not to mention budget stuff and paperwork.

I'm sure by lunch time I'll be back to my old self.

Does it take you more than a day to get back up to speed after a long vacation??

It usually takes one long vacation each year to remind me why I don't like coming back from them: The work that I should be doing while I'm away is still sitting on my desk when I get back, and I spend the same amount of time having to get it done. Confused

Vacation for me is essentially structured procrastination.

It usually takes me a couple of days to get back to my remarkably efficient self.

I takes me at least 2 weeks to get back to where I can be motivated to work after a vacation. It's like pulling teeth trying to get things done.
