Picture it.
An escape from the snow and the -17 degree temperatures to run along the beach in sunny California with some of your virtual running friends.
A fast, flat course perfect for setting a PR. No more than 160 feet of elevation gain over the entire course, and a lot of it is along the ocean front.

That sounds wonderful!!!!! I would love to get away from WI in the winter! I will have to keep this in mind! Plus meeting some of the west coast contingency is would be great!
Also, my coach lives in SD so it would be great to get out there and actually meet him!

It WOULD be so cool to do a big event for each season and then whatever little local ones the smaller groups could pull together!!! Good thinking Cheeky!

ACK! I just spent 3 weeks in lovely Houston, TX, and no wonder you're wheezing! I thought I was going to DIE! Definately nice to see so many runners out in Memorial Park, though.

I would love to. Home town of the Chargers too!
However, on my salary, highly unlikely. I would absolutely love it, I know, but highly unlikely.

I like the Tybee idea. Not a bad drive from ATL.

OK, I'll run the San Diego...
I call dibs for either Cheeks' or OL's couch.
I'll poo on the lawn of the person that doesn't pick me.

Excellent! Cheeky will probably get mad and she might decide to do something childish (like steal a Microsoft poster) to make me look bad. Just be ready.
