Posted: 03/21/05 - 14:02 Post subject: Poop progress!!!!!
Woooo hoooo.....Hayden just did a poop in the potty! Have we turned the corner here????? He's been totally pee trained over a month now, but has refused to poop in the potty.
Today he asked me to go like every 30 seconds for a while and I was getting so mad, because he never will poop and I knew he had to.....but the last time I had him up there I think he just couldn't help it and went! So we had a big celebration and I'm hoping now he won't be scared!!!!!
My only problem was we have been promising him he can watch Shrek whenver he does it, and he did and wanted to watch, and nap time is in the next little while, but he'll just have to go down late today. I had to let him have his reward so he's watching right now and having a sucker!!! If he does it again we're going to Chuck E Cheese and then maybe he'll really have it down!
Wooo hoooo!!! Thanks for listening to this whole post about poop. My life really is exciting, isn't it.

to Hayden.
Little coach squeezed one out before his bath last week.
that's about as far as he's gotten.

We went through the same with Mike. He got to a stage where he'd go at home, but nowhere else (including daycare), but he's past that now too. He will go in there for 15-20 minutes, though - singing, talking to himself. He actually seems to enjoy it. More power the young man!

Thankfully not IN the bath! I've heard stories about that!
I'm just hoping this isn't a one time deal....it would be nice to just have him get it instead of watching him freak and hold it all day until he's got his pull up on after his nap (which is what he's been doing the last month!)!
