lunatic here. DH takes me every year on this day. My shopping is nearly done, maybe 2 or 3 things to get. You get some great deals but it took all day. Most folks think it's not worth the time.

We went to Walmart about 3 pm, it was to buy dog food and groceries.
The store wasn't that busy at all-in fact, less busy than I would expect for a Friday afternoon. The shopping fanatics must have been there in the early morning.
Didn't see any special deal on anything either, so just bought the dogfood & groceries and went home.

I'd rather shoot myself in the foot than have shopped today.

Robin got like 90 % of ours done today. The only thing I have to do is buy a few things for her. That is it.

We did nothing today. I'm sick, and L had to work tonight. That's about the extent of our Black Friday festivities.

Went to the local Walmart around 5pm yesterday. Figured that if I go then, there would be less of a crowd. I don't know how it was in the morning, but for me, it was still crowded at 5. Of course, I am the type that enjoys going at like 5am on most days because then nobody is there and I can zip through the isles and get right to what I need.

Mrs Boiler went out at 5:30 in the morning to miss the crowds. She said the mall was pretty crowded by 7.

Oh, hell no! I once accidently went to a Best Buy the day after Thanksgiving (I forgot what day it was). Big mistake. Huge!
Besides, I got Buffy Season 7 at Target on sunday for $17.

Yes, and worse, my sister and I went to Garden Ridge (who had an 85 hour sale) at midnight Thanksgiving night. Worse still--it was packed!
