Curious -- What do you Riff Raffers do with pictures of you and your ex significant other?
Background -- I found out last week that my ex long time girlfriend got married earlier this month. (Brought back some serious mixed emotions.) Anyway - while cleaning up my office killing time yesterday, I discovered a framed picture of the two of us together after we had just met. Half of me wants to feed it to the Orcs. And the other half of me thinks that is just plain silly.
Your thoughts?

I saved some pictures from my wedding with Ian's dad for Ian's sake, but other than that...I toss 'em.

Well, my situation is different than yours in that I have kids with mine. I have pictures of him all over the apt, including one of us together on my bedside table.
However, I don't have any pics of my past SO's. Never felt like keeping them once the relationship was over. I don't think it's silly though that you still have a pic of the two of you. But since she's now married, well, I probably wouldn't keep it were it me. At least not out in the open. Maybe in a box if you cannot part with it?

Toss it. Should a future gf ever find it, you will forever be inundated with questions such as "Do you still love her?", "Did you love her more?", "Is that a hairlip?", etc. You'll get those anyway, but at least with less frequency.

FWIW -
If you are only a couple of years out of HS, and your BF/GF cheated on you and is generally considered an all-around jerk by you, your friends and acquaintances, and your parents, and you end up meeting a nice guy/girl that your friends and parents like, and you eventually get engaged....
...it's high time for your parents to take down the picture of you and your ex at your Sr Prom.

I heard a rumor that I was cut out of all ex's pictures in the house. Not discreetly either. Flagrant removal. Never saw it in person, just heard it.

Gotta keep the home fires burning on those cold winter nights
I do have a few where they are group shots, those I kept because there are other friends in them, but any of just "him" or the two of us.....see ya! No need to keep those around.

I destroyed all of mine mainly, because in retrospect, the dude was a dork.
I'm sure he's gotten rid of mine for the same exact reason!!!!

I never had a chance to make a decision. My wife disposed of them shortly after we married.
"I don't think we'll be needing these any more, do you?"
