With the exception of the slower than slow service at the post office window (regardless of what post office I visit), I've never had a significant problem sending or receiving that I can remember.

Find one with a postage ATM! It's a wonderful invention!

I buy stamps at my bank's ATM and the supermarket - I'm referring to mailing packages.

I have been sending and receiving mail for all of my adult life, I cannot think of more then one or maybe two instances were the USPS was at fault for a bad delivery.

Diva, I think your problem is an isolated one. I honestly cannot recall anyone I know having as many issues as you have with lost mail. My job has a need for overnight and 2 day service. Fedex and UPS have screwed up a seriously higher percentage of mail than the usps has ever screwed up, at last in my experience.

To be sure, people have to realize that bulk mail is not a guaranteed delivery, and USPS can deliver it at its descretion (i.e. you get what you pay for). I work for a company that delivers such a high volume of mail that the USPS has a facility within our facility!

I use USPS to ship things about eleventy times more often than any other way and I love the automated package machine. I also love the stamps at atms thing. Our address had problems for a while but it was an individual mail carrier thing. I really really like USPS, very reliable and CHEAP.
