Running watches don't have snoozebars!
You all should be waking up to the sweet little Timex 'beep-beep-beep'.

not loud enough to wake me from the near dead state that is my "slumber".
Once, when I was in the guards...at guard camp...I slept through an entire attack on our camp. I didn't wake up...there was gunfire, and simulated artillery (think big booms) and I didn't know anything about it.
I'm a heavy sleeper. My subconscious laughs at the timex alarm. |
Hey Coach....I slept thru a real CS Gas attack once...
The CO and the First Sgt laughed their azzes off over that one...

OMG. some of the Army sleep thrus i have done. Yup slept thru an attack while in Bivoauc, slept in the back of a moving cargo truck, once while in Bolivia (i can't tell you so don't ask ) I slept thru half the camp trying to wake me up since my lab box was flooding out. they though maybe i was electrocuted apparently i even did CPR once and don't even remember it. i normally have to "train" myself to hear the alarm clock. and basic training. OY VEI we don't want to discuss what that was like.

My snooze lasts 9 min. I hit it once in the am. If I have something really important that I can't sleep thru I set our other clock as well. It's a chime gong like thing. It gets faster and faster if you don't turn it off. gong.........gong........gong......gong....gong..gong
