I absolutely swore off all AARC events after the last attempt at one, but this midweek 5K on Wednesday 7/16 looks like a good speedwork session to me. Plus beer at the finish line. Anyone else for this?
Come on, TriBob, you know you want to do it....

well now......
we are supposed to be in the Hershey/Palmyra area that week. If that happens, then I may just drive over and do this race.

Interesting ... it's 3 days after a race for me! Let's call it speedwork followed by beer!

Well, clearly I won't be running, but I'm going to try to be at the finish line for the beer. I mean to meet all the RRers.

well if i didnt have to go to class to prepare for my final on thursday i would be there. Going to school at Millersville in the summer is boring. I'd rather be at the beach! I wanna run a 5k so bad right about now just to see where i stand. I haven't ran a 5k since i was about 12 (ten years ago).
Keltic, that's funny you were heading up to hershey/palmyra area because i go up that way all the time. It's about 30-35 minutes from me.
Anyhow, if anyone knows of any 5k runs coming up in the lancaster, harrisburg, philadelphia, or Ocean City, NJ areas, please let me know. My two summer classes end this week, leaving me one month of doing nothing but working, all before school starts back up.

Toz, keep checking this forum, it's where all the race get togethers are posted. The Posse tries to get together as often as possible so hopefully you'll be able to catch up with us soon.
I know for next year, there's the Red Rose Run the first weekend in June in Lancaster, a nice 5 miler (except for the hill on Duke Street!!) that some of us have done, including Red Tornado from CR, if you know that site. Check also the Pagoda Pacers website, they're Reading based and usually have a list of races in the area. I'll keep you posted if I think of anything else.
El and Go, see you two tomorrow.
