Yesterday the credit card bill arrived with the charge for the Phantom tickets. Jen says to me WTF is this $170.00 charge on the credit card, what did you get now?
Well the cat out of the bag at this point. So I fess up, and tell her. Boy was she embarased that she ruined her own surprise.
She was thrilled that we are going to the see the show. Looks like I am a lock for Husband of the Year again.

oh greg, too bad! Couldn't you have made up some story about some really great porn site you found on the net, I'm sure she wouldn't have minded.
By the way, have either of you seen Phantom before, or do you know the detail of the story?
If no to either or both, just a hint from me. My hubby and I saw it a few weeks ago. Neither of us had seen it or knew the story really. And we didn't read about it before because we didn't want to ruin the story. Well, after seeing it we really wish we would have known the story before hand. It would've made seeing it even better (not worse) because at times it was hard for us to follow what was going on (like sometimes when a bunch of people are singing at once, etc.).
Just a suggestion, but I'd find a site that tells the story in some detail and read that first. Then you will know the story and can enjoy it played out on stage and the music, scenery that goes with it.
Enjoy!
