After professing up and down that she wouldn't alter the flow of my team meetings, the first substantial change that my manager made once joining the team was to alter the flow of my team meetings by doubling the length of them.

I had never, not once, taken a full hour. We were routinely done in 45 minutes.

They are now scheduled for an hour and a half to cover the same standing agenda because she can't stop talking off-topic. burning mad

I don't like working lunches. I use my lunches for other stuff, like running or studying, and the part I hate the most is the assumption that because lunch will be purchased by someone else, I'll be thrilled to go.

That seems like a long time to discuss who is going to work the drive-thru shift next week and who will be working the fryers.

I'd reply, Dives, but that avatar of yours is hella-creepy. Puts the Quizno's (your description here) to shame.

WHA????? You don't like my avatar????

Well, you won't have to worry...it'll be changing before next month. Unless, of course, Cappy does something to mess up the avatar downloading again! Wink

Since I now work for two different depts at once I get to attend each depts bi-weekly update meetings. Each project engineer must go over each and every one of their projects and provide the group an update on status, money spent vs. money earmarked, etc. etc. etc. And since there are three levels of management present for these events we get away with very little in shenanigans...... I got caught once flipping off the guy across the table from me... Embarassed The boredom factor in these meetings is literally off the charts.

$620.00 for two blood draws? are you kidding me?

husband has a cholesterol draw/liver profile - $270.00
son has a cholesterol/A1C/kidney profile/thyroid - $350.00

add to that the bill for my son's office visit - also $350.00 for an hour with an endocrinologist and i'd say we have some over the top hospital charges.
