I am rarely alone but if I am I leave it open only to keep the air fresh

This all hinges on that when I'm home alone and the urge strikes that I even go back in the house

Yep, I close the door most of the time except when no one else is at home.

alone and standing for #1: door open and I may not flush until there are a few gallons of it in there. no sense wasting water. |
But then you have to clean your bowl more often, don't you? If there's anything I hate it's cleaning the BOWLS. Especially since my plumber cordially asked me to stop using those bleach drop-in-the-tank things... he said the bleach eats anything rubber (gaskets, etc.) and that's why my toilet was leaking. So now I have to clean the damned things more often. I'd rather have 10 kids than clean toilets. |
You know, even though we flush like the dickens around here (5 people = lottsa pottying) the bowls STILL need cleaned every 3 days. No lie. I hate it. I'd rather parade nekkid down main street than clean toilets.

Matt has to remind me to close the door when we have company. I accidentally left it open a crack (no pun intended) when my sister was in town visiting. Luckily, she's a dancer, and has shared a home with me long enough to not heed the virtues of modesty.

I think I close them even when alone. I'm not sure though and now I'll think way too much about it.

Doors open.
My problem is that our Master Bath doesn't have a door going into it. Then the actual room where the toilet is is so small that I get clautrophobic in there. So, I don't close the door to that small area. Get it?
I would love to have a bathroom where I could close the door and have a few moments to myself. I used to seek refuge in the house we had in Ohio in the bathroom.
I've lost a lot of privacy to myself since I've had my kids.

No, unless I'm expecting the family to walk in the door in the near future.

Door closed! I have the problem Cheryl does, cats trying to barge in, and if they're not first in line, it's the dogs. There's just not enough room, and I don't need 6 sets of eyes watching me.
