Does anyone run with any type of personal protection? Since it’s getting dark early, I’m considering on carrying something when i'm running.

I run with a product called the Wrist Saver. It's a pepper spray product that fits in a wristband. It had some great reviews on Active.com and Women's Running. I order mine online on Personal Savers site at http://www.personalsavers.com

If you run out in the country side, I don't think you need self deffense materials. I know I don't carry any. But I think it would be pretty justifiable to carry a small can of spray in your hand while you run in the cities.
