 Posted: 03/23/08 - 12:09 Post subject: Pepsi's 5th Annual International Race to Stop the Silence
Stop the Silence is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)3 organization working with others towards the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse (CSA). Proceeds from the race will support their community outreach, law enforcement training to prevent child sexual abuse. Their annual Stop CSA 10K Race and 5K Pledge Walk will be held at 8:30 am Sunday, April 13, 2008 in Anacostia Park, Washington DC (the Kids' Fun Run will take place immediately after the Race and Fun Run/Walk). Registration and family activities begin at 6:30 am. Race entry fees are $25 after March 15, and $30 late registration at packet pickup after on-line registration closes on Wednesday, April 9 for the 10k race and the 5K Pledge Walk.
