You can't admit you don't. So fess up, what's your favorite venue?
I finished up a bike ride over the weekend and pitched a folding chair along the bike trail. Being a holiday weekend there was nearly bumper to bumper traffic and lots of folks you'd never see on a bike any other time of year. One lady started panicing thinking her chain fell off 'cuz she couldn't pedal, then she realized it was just an uphill.

Wal-Mart, the airport, anywhere where there's lots o' folks to watch.
The Y is a great place to people watch. I especially like to watch people that can swim better than me.

The beach is perfect, and airports are too. I always wonder whether the people are going home or going on a trip, and why.
I love eclectic and eccentric places. There is a little beach town that attracts a somewhat diverse crowd (for here) right nearby that I like to observe. NYC and San Francisco are great, too!

Wherever I have lunch (when I go out).
I watch the parents of kids that are having their sessions with skating coaches when I stretch or treadmill at the gym. The gym overlooks the rinks.

The park where I run is alright, but kinda low traffic. The best is the quad on campus. I've probably spent better than half of my on campus time sitting on a bench or balcony in the quad.
