It might be as simple as the heat of summer getting to you. For me (in Louisiana), summer is a time when I will see very little in the way of results - just because of the heat. Even running before dawn, it's too hot and muggy to turn in good times. Despite little or no visible results, the conditioning is there and once fall and cooler temps come the work will payoff. That's one thing to consider; certainly don't beat yourself up if you're being limited by the weather.
You might be hitting a plateau with training. If you keep doing the same thing over and over again, you may have reached the best running that that training will provide. If you want to get faster, you may need to add more mileage or add some intensity with intervals and tempo runs. Hard to say without more info on your running though. How many miles do you run each week? Have you been increasing that or keeping it steady? What kind of speed work do you do?

I have found that I'm going through the same thing recently. I'm not improving much.... I seem to have hit a peak with distance and time. I'm so glad someone responded! I do the same few runs each time so I could just be getting used to it and not pushing my body enough. I'm going to try and change it a bit and do a few more hills as well. Thanks for input!!

What are you doing in the lead up to your time trials?
Do you run long and run short with pace variation?
Do you have hard days and easy days?
And most important, are you getting plenty of rest between sessions?
